It could be that I do my thinking wrong, but I see 500+ WU's in short queue and 9500+ WU's in long queue.

However when I look ad the Performance page and hover over the bars I can read "N" and to me that is the number of WU's. If I add them then the numbers in the short and long queue do not match with "N".

So is it my thinking, or something else...

I think it could be to do with the fact that every WU that is returned as a result then creates another WU until simulations are complete. That could account for number disparity.

As it is described at the begining of the performance page, only batches with minimum of 50 WU per batch at the current moment of the analysis are taken into account. However, the server is periodically removing WU once we (the scientists) retrieve them from the BOINC server. For this reason, lots of batches never reach the minimum of 50 WU to be displayed in the tab.

PD: I have lowered the threshold to 40 WU, increasing the number of batches displayed.

Thank you for the explanation Gerard. The day after I sent my post, I already saw a lot more bars on the performance page and then the queue did "match" with "N".
