Hi, I just joined GPUGrid, upgraded my vid to 9800gtx+ (and power supply) and am looking forward to crunching some on GPUGrid.
My requests for work keep getting rejected. I'm @ work so I don't have the exact text of the rejection, but it's something like "Two requests per day exceeded, no work units available".

I have yet to receive any work for this upgraded computer...it's only been a few hours, but the error msg is consistent. I searched the forums for the exact error msg and didn't get any hits. Any advice for diagnosing this problem?

Thanks,
HillFamily

You have actually received several tasks that all errored-out in about 3 seconds each. The text from from the stderr_txt file from these reads:

<core_client_version>6.4.5</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1)
</message>
<stderr_txt>

# Clock rate: 1350000 kilohertz
# Total amount of global memory: 268107776 bytes
# Number of multiprocessors: 16
# Number of cores: 128
Cuda error in file '..\force/vdw_texture.cu' in line 186 : feature is not yet implemented.

</stderr_txt>

Since your card is not being recognized properly, I'd suspect that you have a driver problem. Many participants have had success with the 178.24 drivers, so you might try those (or the latest updated drivers from NVIDIA's website).
